I think it's about more than music, even calling it a soundtrack is downplaying it, it's about audio emersion, and Disney parks have long been an innovator in that realm. I wish more of the world used intentional audio to increase a sense of place. It's what I miss most when I'm not in a theme park.

Wait okay is that video at the end how the ride normally is or when it’s broken? Either way, that’s too damn close. I get nervous with dinos because I rode the Dinosaur ride at Animal Kingdom on one of the first days it opened. You’re in a Jeep and most of the ride was totally dark and you’re whipped around and a light comes on to show you if you found the right dinosaur. Well of course I was the closest in the car to the big bad boy-Like a T-Rex but with horns-and I was literally screaming out of fear. It was so rough and close and intense that I was shaking and using everything I had to not start sobbing because I was 16 and my family would laugh at me. I went on it again years later and it wasn’t the same intense experience. I looked it up and apparently they had to retool the ride because it was too rough and too dark and too scary. Now they’re getting rid of Dinoland USA completely which, I’m not upset about … the other dino rides are kinda silly and lame and I just didn’t think it really fit the rest of the park.

I’m so thrilled to hear such great music and beautiful ride, I’m probably the only one but I hate water rides and wish Tiana would have gotten her very own normal dark ride. But heck at least she is at the park! She is my favorite princess.

Interesting.... previously you'd reported (or theorized) that the Country Bear animatronics would be completely replaced with modern tech. But now the word is they'll still be the original pneumatics, with some modern tweaks?
